At Paw Prints, we believe that every dog deserves to feel loved. Our journey began with one special rescue dog named Dominic, whose unwavering spirit and resilience inspired the creation of our company.

Dominic was a scrappy, wide-eyed beagle who  was found in a cardboard box left on the side of a busy highway. Dominic quickly became a part of our family, and it didn’t take long to realise that, despite his rough start, he was a dog full of life, energy, and heart.

But there was one thing we couldn’t ignore: Dominic, like many rescue dogs, had some challenges. He was anxious in new environments and often hesitant to trust. Even when he was settled, he hated wearing the ill-fitting, uncomfortable dog clothes we found in stores. He needed something more—a product that was built with his unique needs in mind, something that could support his adventurous spirit while providing the comfort and security he craved.

That’s when the idea for Paw Prints was born. We realised there was a gap in the market for dog apparel that was both stylish and functional, made with rescue dogs like Dominic in mind. We wanted to create a line that wasn’t just about looking good, but about feeling good—clothes that would support dogs like Dominic, who needed comfort, warmth, and freedom to be themselves without restriction. We started with careful research, testing fabrics that were gentle yet durable, and designing products that would help dogs feel safe and stylish at the same time. We spent hours tweaking patterns, adjusting fits, and considering the everyday challenges that dogs like Dominic face. Whether it was finding a jacket that didn’t restrict movement or a sweater that wouldn’t cause irritation, we focused on the details that would make a difference in their lives. Today, our brand stands as a tribute to Dominic’s spirit and to every dog who’s overcome obstacles in their journey. We believe that every dog, no matter their past, deserves to feel good in their skin, and to wear apparel that’s made with care and love. From cozy coats for chilly mornings to lightweight tees for sunny walks, each piece is designed with the utmost care and attention to detail. Dominic may have started as a rescue dog, but today, he’s the heart of everything we do. His journey is a reminder that love, patience, and the right support can help any dog flourish.
